Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 0.80%.
The best performers of the session on the were Genmab (CSE:), which rose 2.91% or 58.00 points to trade at 2,048.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:) added 2.07% or 15.20 points to end at 750.20 and Pandora A/S (CSE:) was up 2.00% or 16.00 points to 814.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orsted A/S (CSE:), which fell 25.69% or 87.30 points to trade at 252.50 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) declined 1.91% or 9.50 points to end at 486.70 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:) was down 0.17% or 1.40 points to 838.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 71 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Orsted A/S (CSE:) fell to 5-year lows; down 25.69% or 87.30 to 252.50. Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:) fell to 52-week lows; down 0.17% or 1.40 to 838.60.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.00% or 0.81 to $81.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.13% or 0.96 to hit $85.98 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 8.45 to trade at $1,985.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.39% to 7.08, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 106.79.
