Greatland Gold Completes First Drilling at Paterson South Project in Australia

Greatland Gold said it has completed the first drilling at its Paterson South project in Western Australia, under the farm-in and joint-venture pact with Rio Tinto subsidiary Rio Tinto Exploration.

The precious and base metals miner said Friday that it has found moderately anomalous gold and copper during the drilling at two high-priority targets at the project.

The miner has now met the minimum commitment of the agreement with Rio Tinto Exploration more than a year ahead the deadline, it said.
