Dow rallies 150 points on gains in Merck, JPMorgan Chase shares

and JPMorgan Chase

are contributing to the index’s intraday rally. Merck’s shares are up $2.47 (2.2%) while those of JPMorgan Chase have gained $2.54 (1.5%), combining for a roughly 33-point boost for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Travelers

Caterpillar
CAT,
+0.99%,
and Boeing
BA,
-6.49%.
A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.59-point swing.
